Don't buy the Kids ultimate gift cards for JB Hifi purchases made online. It says on the website not for online use.

        • @izzypop08: Thanks, I'll skip the kids ultimate cards.

  • Where is this made?

  • Is this vacuum suitable for hard floors? Does anyone have this and can vouch for whether it's any good or not/pros and cons?

    • +1

Yes we have it, and it fits our needs well. It has a combo floor tool, flip it up for carpet and down for hardfloors.
All C3's have the same main vacuum part. It is the added accessories, colours and filters than differentiate the models. For example the cat n dog model which is much spoke about, has the same combo floor tool and the same bonus turbo mini. The difference is the C&D also has a larger turbo brush and a different filter. Their little onboard accessories are the same.

      • Thanks for that. Does the cat and dog model cost more ongoing to replace filters etc?

        • +1

I have no idea, but there is a post about this same vacuum a few weeks ago and in the comments explains why this model might be less hassle filter wise.

        • +1

I have the cat&dog, it doesn't use HEPA filter, so the cost is the same as normal one's.

        • @John Kelvin: Thanks mate. So the cat&dog one has the holder for the standard, free filters which are included with bags? What's the advantage of the cat & dog model compared to this one?

Izzypop08 took the time to describe it in detail and you responded to his post….. What part of it isn't clear?

Go to the Miele.com.au website and it tells you the differences.

IE: the C3 cat and dog model has

With turbobrush and odour filter; ideal for pet lovers.

Which is exactly what izzypop08 said.

        • @Maverick-au: Fair enough…I did read and appreciate Izzypop08's response about the differences. I just thought John Kelvin as an actual owner of the cat&dog model may be able to provide additional insights.

What part of it isn't clear?

Confirmation that the cat&dog model has the holder for the standard, free filters which are included with bags. No-one has confirmed if this is the case and I can't find that info on the miele site (maybe I'm not good at finding it but I have had a look and tried). For me this is a deal-breaker for which model I would choose.

Thanks for your reply and the info you provided.

I just did some research and from what I can find out the filters are interchangeable between the models and you can buy the bags with the three different filters.

There was some discussion last year on here about the Miele C3 cat and dog that discussed this as well.

        • @Maverick-au:
Thanks for your help. Can you please link me to that discussion you mentioned?
