  • Similarly to yesterday's post my click on your link doesn't seem to show any discounted prices. I suspect my browser needs to have a cookie or something from the referring site. Did you find the deal through Facebook or somewhere else?

  • The ozbargain click through invalidates the correct link. You have to post the link in the body of the post.

    • Can you please confirm if the link that's added works at your end?

      • Not working for me. Is there something extra you did?

      • Not working for me either

      • The link that's now been posted in the body of the deal works fine for me! :-)

  • I think your browser cookies are still valid from an older deal OP, doesn't work for me. Nevermind, works for me on PC.

Issue seems to be fixed, please clear Cache. I can see the updated link working on other devices. Cheers

  • Anyone have experience with the non-iron shirts?

    • I like them, had them a few months now and not had to iron them yet.
People at work didn't believe that I didn't iron them even after a close inspection (usual work dress code is tshirt/jeans).

    • The non-iron shirts are really good. I don't iron them at all and they look like they've literally been ironed - they're great and have saved me so much time. Would recommend.

      • Can you confirm your process? I have a few and have found they still need a bit of iron, but maybe I am doing something wrong?

        • +4

low spin, take them out as soon as they are done, put them on a hangar to dry.

The above is useful for regular shirts too and taking some of the work out of ironing them.

        • When you hand them outside, make sure to give it a bit of a "tug" when it's still slightly damp to straighten them out and then just bring them inside. Don't let them get completely dried out in the sun.

    • Really good. Need to put on coathanger after wash to dry.

  • Can anyone who has bought both Charles Tywritt and TM Lewin chime in on their experiences? I have bought only CT so far, and although I love the quality, I'm having the following issue with their extra slim shirts.

When I first bought CT shirt, I went with their standard sleeve length, which I found to be too short, although the fitment of the shirt itself was perfect. However, when I returned it for a longer sleeve length (same collar size), the shirt was more baggy, and no longer a perfect fit.

Does anyone know if I'm likely to encounter a similar experience with TM Lewin?

Also does CT's extra slim equate to TM Lewin's fitted or super fitted?

    • I'm in the same boat as you! Anyone know what CT extra slim equates to?

      • I believe CT extra slim equates to TM fitted. Apparently TM super fitted is very slim.

    • also found TM super fitted to too slim. CT extra slim is pretty similar to TM fitted. CT stlll has 3 for $99 with free shipping though and i think their quality is better than that of TM

    • Hmm. Might buy one of each to try. Does anyone know how their return policy is like?

      • +1

I have found returns for both quite frustrating due to length of time - basically have to post back to the UK and wait for them to post the new ones back.

I believe some people have had luck doing TM returns in store if there is one near you (their actual store, not Myer, etc).

        • So pretty much the exact same process like CT? Free exchange/returns?

I'm not too fussed with the length of time considering I have just about enough shirts for a weekly cycle at the moment.

        • @RyanMK: Yes - I haven't bought recently, but think TM is now free returns/exchanges within 30 days. Was previously 90 days but you had to pay for postage.

I have the exact same issue with CT shirts, though I haven't bought one for over a year from there and I heard CT changed their cut sometime last year. Being tall and athletic, I have to size down both brands a lot (vs neck measurement) for the torso to fit well in the "extra slim" CT, therefore making the CT shirt sleeves WAY too short. Pretty much had to wear them with sleeves constantly rolled up otherwise it looked ridiculous.

TM offers no-cost sleeve lengths (short/reg/long) and I found the long sleeves on a sized down shirt a perfect fit, they easily go past my wrist bone where as CT would come up 1-2" short. Like djkelly said, CT extra slim = TM fitted, however I think the TM fitted has a more aggressive lower taper so they don't billow above the belt where CT shirts sometimes do. Quality wise they're about even, maybe CT is slightly better on some specific fabrics (Herringbone?). That said, I see now that CT also offer sleeve length choice (they didn't when I bought from them) so you might have the same success when ordering a CT shirt with long length as well.

I bought some slim fit CT shirts late last year. They had shockingly low arm-holes, which looked and felt awful. I returned them. Got some TML which are much better.

  • Any discount codes to stack this with?

  • Seeing this deal has reminded me I never got my shirt from this deal

  • anyone know whats the different between the sizing for "to fit chest" and "shirt chest size"

    • +2

Your actual chest size compared to what the shirt's chest size is … because if you had a 36" chest and bought a 36" chest shirt it would be skin-tight.

      • thanks for the help mate

  • Is this available in store too?

    • Staff in store have been willing to price match online sales prices in the past (see: this last deal). Although it does seem hit-and-miss depending on the store and who serves you - however I have seen different people mention that staff in store will price match.

Australia seems to always get stooged by TM Lewin in physical stores - during ClickFrenzy people were going crazy at the $60 shirts in store they were doing (or whatever the price was). Evidently they aren't OzBargainers. :P

  • Anyone know when this deal ends?

    • Looks like it just ended.

      • Working for me! Make sure you click the link in the body of the post.

How odd… I was on the site when it was $40 and when I refreshed it, the price was back to normal prices or 4 for around $240. thanks for the update whypaymo.
