  • if only they got rid of the wide format !!!!

    • True but it's better after when you need to put newpaper down for chores, wrap something for disposal, etc ;-)

  • Does anyone know what time they deliver the papers at your door?
    Thanks.

    • +1

very early. I left home one morning at 6am, and it was sitting there.

      • Its around 6.30am on weekdays, but on week-end it is a bit late 7.30sh

      • Mines ~6am weekdays, ~7am weekends.

    • Delivery time will vary depending on your newsagent and where abouts you are on their route. Where I live (Reservoir VIC) I get my weekdays papers at about 7am, and weekend ones at approx 8am. But I would expect the deliveries would take the driver about 30 min or so, so it depends where you live and also affected by late delivery of papers (which DOES happen sometimes)

  • Is this a good deal, guys?
Compared to the 7 day subscription for a year, which is a better deal?
How much is the 7 day subscription on promo, does anyone know?
    Thanks.

    • IMO very good - if you buy 1 day's paper (eg: I buy thursday for Green Guide), you would pay $78 per year at $52 you get 4 days home delivered!

  • it says it may check if you are a Drive subscriber? what is that?

    • just means if your area is within their delivery route im guessing.
so if you call them up they'll let you know if you are in their delivery zone and if so, it'll be this price. it might be higher if you aren't or you might not be eligible at all.

  • In our area, the problem is it takes about 10 minutes to find out where they threw the newspaper that morning… It's quicker to drive down to the newsagent and pick it up yourself…
