Boost Juice - Purchase a Strawberry & Cream for a MYER Mystery Voucher worth $1 to $100

210

Hi all,
Did a search and could not find this deal.

Went into Boost Juice today and bought their new Strawberry & Cream flavored smoothie. Received a Discount card for Myer valid until the 29th of August 2010, 5pm (AEST).

The Discount card has a "Mystery" value of $1 to $100 (So you won't know how much value it contains until you have it scanned at checkout), where it can be redeemed when purchasing only at Miss Shop and the Men's Youth Departments.

This is in VIC, and I can't seem to find it on the website, although it could be national-wide (someone can confirm this)

Enjoy :)

If your gift card has a number and pin (which should be printed on it) you can check your balance here

This is not a gift card. It is a promotional "mystery" voucher that can be redeemed at Myer. It contains the value of anywhere between $1 to $100.

      Edit: Picture uploaded.

If it is just a voucher with a bar code then you will be able to get the discount from the bar code numbers.
It would be too hard to have a unique bar code for every voucher so somewhere in the bar code numbers will be the discount you will receive

Wow thanks for the negative votes.
I was only trying to help determine what the value of the discount card would be. Idiots.

  • if it was for the whole of myer id be interested. its a good idea for a promotion though.

How was the Strawberry & Cream smoothie?

    • It was great, something different from their usual range :) Found it a bit creamy though, but probably due to the person who made it

  • "Miss Shop and the Men’s Youth Departments" Does that mean the basement?

    • yes

Seeing as I worked at MYER, I can tell you now that most likely 80% of these will be just $1-5.

      Hardly a surprise

      • indeed.

        • i wont be buying a smoothie based of a chance to get a card anyway, not really a bargain but a small bonus. you cant expect everyone to be $100 when your smoothie is about $5

    • Would have guessed, but there's still the 1 out of the 8123081203810382019380 who might get the $100 lol

  • You can see in the T&C how many vouchers and total value in each state.

ACT only has 2500 vouchers at a total of $4295, which isn't much really. And there's only a total of 200 x $100 voucher statewide.

Nation Total value of Vouchers: $357,000.00
      ($1 x 153,000; $2 x 52,000; $5 x 8,000; $10 x 1,500; $50 x 500;$100 x 200)

I know there is a statewide allocation of these, but from the national figures there is a 0.09% chance of getting a $100 voucher and 0.2% chance of getting a $50 voucher.

      • Pretty fair odds considering Boost smoothies are good regardless :)

    Lol, gotta love their T&C's

"Purchase an original Strawberries & Cream smoothie before the 30th of August and receive a Myer mystery discount card. Simply take it back to any Myer Miss Shop or Myer Men's Youth department before 29 August to see how much $$$ you've won off your purchase. There's up to $100 off up to grabs, and everyone's a winner!"

So please, feel free to buy a smoothie on the 30th August and you'll even get a free worthless piece of paper. Good work.

  • So has anyone tried checking the value of the mystery card before finalising the purchase? Just curious if they'd let you. I've no interest in those departments anyway. I'd probably save more buying from somewhere else.

  • I tried one the other day before the promotion started. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the strawberries & cream, I thought it tasted quite plain. Almost like a watered down strawberry milkshake. I much prefer the local fruit juice bars that make smoothies with pure fruit and ice cream only.

  • I bought a medium one today, $5.80! Expensive. Tasty though.

Only bad thing was, NO CARDS! I only really bought it because I was inline at Myer and a chick infront of me won a $50 credit, so I went down to boost and bought mine and after paying she said none left :(. So went back to Myer and bought it anyway with cash.

    • So Boost wins, Myer wins and you, er… got an expensive drink! ;-) Sorry to hear.

  • So has anyone worked out which barcodes equal which discounts?
I have bought 5 boosts and got 4 with the barcode 2 300015 853904 and one with 2 300015 853911, so i guess the barcode indicates the discount?
