  • tried finding using Adioso for Brisbane - Adelaide around 25th Nov-8 Dec… But all fares are much higher than the advertised price of $59. They are selling i for $99. Wth?

    • Check the actual jetstar site. That route is excluded for that period.

      • I've checked at that time, it was included, I SWEAR! but i just checked again, its 'X' now.. seriously, they cant do that!

    • It's after jan 24.

    • u sure that was the sale price ?..i got syd-ho chi minh for $471.41.

      • Ouch!

      • yeah, because i'll travel from November to March :) :) you probably travel within the sale period (Feb, Mar)

    • yeah have to depend on the date at will. this sale price are in Feb (off season for student)

  • May be because you're departing from different locations too..

  • Just a side note to everyone, The list on the JetStar site is incomplete.
The sale applies to ALL routes, including Overseas-Australia flights (even though the site doesn't say so).

Sale fare also applies to intra-Asia flights.

Cheap flights to Japan, but unfortunately, not so cheap flights from Japan to Hong Kong (not referring to Jetstar, but in general).

Anyone have any idea which airline would be relatively cheap to get to HK from Japan (Tokyo)?

    • what about to Singapore or KL then onto Hong Kong on AirAsia/Tiger

    • I'm in the same boat as you. its true, in general it is rather expensive to fly from Japan to HK. I want to fly to HK from Japan as well. Try some budget airlines. i.e. airasia + jetstar asia. I had a look, you gotta fly from Japan to Taiwan, then Taiwan to Singapore/malaysia, then from there, fly to HKG. that should be much cheaper than flying directly from JPN to HKG. But you gotta have more time on your hands. But if you were planning to travel around asia, I think it would be pretty cool to go through all those countries… but it'll be a hassle!

  • Awesome deal, just booked for two people to travel SYD - HCM for $1020 total next March. Bargain!! (Includes baggage). If only i was booking for myself :( no holiday leave for me!!

    • Could have got it for half that if you'd flown with airasia… oh wait, Sydney…. /pat

  • Bought 2 returns SYD to HCM for $1008.82 in total for March 2011 as well. Flying there with carryonluggage and back with 20kg luggage!!

For some reason, when I tried to buy 2 tickets at the same time, the tickets were MORE expensive.

Buying them seperately was actually cheaper (inc $10 credit card fee x 2) and you could choose to sit next to each other anyway!
