  • Oh GraysOnline again…. nah…

    • What's the problem? Can you say it out for everybody to know so avoid it?

      • To jump in:

Greys use to be amazeballs, though some of their items if you aren't careful can be dear. Plus their delivery costs can be nasty.

Ultimately as with 'anything' don't just jump in, but I dare say that on this little site, us OZB's would know a thing or two about pricing and being careful!

Heck I'm in the market for a basic system to play old DOS games, if this was suitable, I'd think it's a good price initially.

        My 2-c- worth.

      • Search these forums, many problems with cancelled orders.

    • yep.. probably end up cancelling your order claiming "technical issue with the stock number" and they cant fulfil order. Terrible customer service and this seems to happen all too often and they never learn. They really let me down, thought I had finally found what I needed at a great price.

  • How long will the fully charged battery last?

    • I've got one of these. I'd say 6 - 7 hours. 5 or less if you're watching movies or playing games. Good for a flight. I like the fact that you can put the screen in any configuration you want. Backwards, tent, etc.

  • +1

FWIW I have had good experiences with GraysOnline.

Bought quite a few things from them recently. Also had a faulty item and they refunded cheerfully.

  • 2gb ram is a Nono for this series, I got Toshiba and china tablet running the same cpu, all right for doing one thing a time with desktop apps and functional when use Windows store apps.

  • Ive had mixed results
    - ordered an item during ebay sale, not delivered for 2 weeks, said, product unavailable, here is your refund, once sale finished price rise, available again straight away, asked if I could have that one, NO, wrote neutral feedback, got an offer for $30 refund to change the feedback, agreed to, I asked them to send me the amednemnet request, 4-5 times, never came
    - ordered 6 items worht $85 each, delivered 12
    - purchased a refurb laptop with 12 months warranty, basically got a new laptop, battery dead from day 1, took it to authroised repair centre, new batt without a hitch

I think their intentions are good, maybe theyre just too big

  • Anyone tried one of these with Ubuntu?

  • A machine for Breath of the Wild for half the price!

  • careful manufacturer refurbished can also mean screen can be scratched. they wont even mention it in the post even if it is scratched
