When you take into account the delivery charge (+14 dollars = 283 dollars) the RX 480 8GB is a lot better value from Kogan ebay for $311 delivered. You can redeem a free copy of Doom. when you buy a RX480.

Also have to consider the RX 480 with 4GB of VRAM which had (past tense) been selling from Amazon for around $226 AUD, which outperforms the 3GB variant of the 1060.

    • RXs are not great unless you have an i5 or above..

    Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX480 G1 Gaming 4GB $1 more

  • I'm locked in to nvidia because I stream games to my nvidia shield, so I had to go with the 1060, despite the rx480 being marginally better bang for buck. I'm just glad there is strong competition at this price point now.
