  Pretty good bar, can be abit shallow on bass but very good everywhere else imo.

  Good price! I got one of these last year on a JB Hifi special for $287. Not bad - bass could be a bit louder but this is a HUGE step up from TV speakers and makes movies/games/general TV a much better experience.

    This is 300w vs 130w, that said reviews for the Samsung seem to indicate better sound quality.

        Correct. But more power doesn't necessarily mean better sound. Checking some reviews it seems the Sony can sound "tinny". Honestly unless you can listen to them both you won't know which is better, but on paper it should be the Sony.

      bought few times from Sony second eBay. No problem so far. they are opened and reseated items. may have an extra cable or missing a pin code but things can be sorted with their support. So depend how much discount it offers, sometimes better buy brand new special - know your price - not just because 2nd appears bargain. Sometimes it is worth so cheaper items which is used once in a while.

  I have a sony 2nds TV 65" 4K never had an issue with it, Looked like it brand new when i took it out the box.
