    I have the alloy chassis version of this model Masport. Awesome mower !!

    The handle lift system, and the elevated starter cord make it easier for the bad backed amongst us :)

    From experience how the Ryobi and Masport 4000 handle long grass?

      No challenge to my Ryobi providing I adjust the cutting height beforehand. If the grass is very high, it is better to reduce its height with a whipper-snipper before mowing.

      I have the Masport President 3000 and it has no issues at all through long grass. Depends how long you are talking though.
