Yeah it's a crappy marketing technique, but if you look past that it's $10 a pair delivered - which is pretty good.
If a company deceives you with their prices and marketing - things the customer can see and track, then God knows what other tricks they're pulling with the what we can't see - quality and manufacturing of their products.
I think that's a bit of a leap. You just have to have some nouse when it comes to these things. But, well spotted on the before price.
