It's probably because Apple bought them out https://techcrunch.com/2017/03/22/apple-has-acquired-workflo…

It is. Hopefully Apple will keep developing it.

I imagine they'd look to roll the most useful functions into the OS + Siri + Home App etc eventually.

  • On a side note, does anyone actually pay for Zapier? It is far superior to the free IFTTT but only allows 5 free tasks.

Agreed, their plans are for the corporate world only really, nothing for "personal" use, I'd love to see a plan somewhere between the free and the ~$20, say around $5/mth or a "pre-paid" plan where I only pay for what I use.

      • Right - that would be great!

    • My good sir, people do not pay for things on the internet!

I still don't understand what this does 😳

  • I found this too restricted by Apple to achieve what I wanted it to. I suppose now it's owned by Apple they might give it access to more System Services which would be a good thing

    • It's a terrible idea from a security point of view.

  • Hey can someone tell me how o delete all images on my phone which was taken around a certain place? I've downloaded this and then what ?

You'll need to create a recipe which does it - or find one that does something similiar like this:

      https://www.reddit.com/r/workflow/comments/42hbtu/request_fi…

And then add a delete function at the end, maybe like this:

Workflow is pretty powerful, but there is a fairly steep learning curve if you want do something that you can't find a recipe for.

      • Oh man thanks! That kinda does what I want and it works too. Now just have to tinker with it a bit!

    • What was the certain place you need all images taken around deleted? :P

      • running out of space so I preferred holiday snaps more than home stuff on phone. Managed to get it all going with a date range too after about a days worth of casual tinkering.

  • Basically free is the new price. I guessing Workflow Sync will move to iCloud in due course.

  • And will be free, check this nice article from business insider .
