Apparently works with the Xbox One S as well as the original. Was looking for a couple of spares for mates etc and figure even if they are slightly lower build quality it's better than $75ish for a genuine one
Limitations (that I can ascertain besides potential build quality issues) are:
* Xbox One ONLY (no pc compatibility) even though the landing page suggests it, the FAQ says it doesn't.
* No 3.5mm socket
No dongle (but I have an original Xbox One) potentially needs a dongle for the S

There is no way a "controller of slightly lower build quality" than a genuine one could be better just because it costs less. Would you rather pay $32 a few times within 12 months or shell out $75 for a genuine one that will last longer?
I once had the dreaded joystick drift on my first Xbox One controller. I cheaped out and got a third-party wired one that was dubbed mini and approved my M$. Needless to say, I returned it the very next day and paid full price for a first-party one.
Would never ever buy a non genuine controller. Microsoft make arguably the highest quality of them all, no reason to cheap out.

im pretty sure with these you have to plug a receiver dongle into the xbox one…i.e. theyre really a ghetto solution which doesnt use the xbox's inbuilt wireless
