Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 4G with S-Pen (16GB) $474.05 @ TheGoodGuys eBay (Free C&C or $8 Delivery)

I was looking around for a new tablet with a stylus as my son has now permanently hijacked my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 from a few years ago. I was watching the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S-Pen 4G (SM-P585YZKAXSA) as it seemed like a good replacement with 4G. A few days ago it was $599 at JB-Hifi and $599 at TGG and on their eBay store, then JB-Hifi dropped the price of this to $499 on their website. I checked TGG's website and they did the same (about 12 hours later). Then I checked their eBay store, and they had dropped the price there to $499.

Buying this tablet from eBay, coupled with the 5% off at eBay (using Coupon CAU5), it brings the price down to $474 (free pick up at a store, or $8 delivery). If you use Cash Rewards, which is running at 2.6% (instead of the standard 1.25%), this brings the price down further to $461.

I also used my Commonwealth Bank card to help bring the price down further, effectively knocking $250 off the price (I know its a minimum $500 spend…i'll be getting a flip case etc for the tablet to make up the $25 odd to hit the $500 minimum spend requirement).

Adding w/ s-pen on title wouldn't be a bad idea, perhaps a mod could do that (since they can bypass the character limit)?

  • I am keen to get the old 9.7 TAB A with S pen (as we broken screen on original and have all the accessories) , does anyone know where still stock 9.7 Tab A S Pen for cheap?

  • I have been using this Tab (P580) for 5 months now, mainly for taking notes. Very happy with its battery: you can leave it untouch for days and power drainage is next to nothing.

The pen is great with its ability to erase thing by pressing the side button and touching the screen. Palm rejection function is flawless too!

    • I like Wacom EMR. It's a bloody pity that not many devices come out with it.

Palm rejection on it was simply the best out of all the devices I tried (well tried out in stores mostly, to be exact). How the pen doesn't require charging is a bonus in my opinion.

  • Does this make phone calls?

  • the price now shows as 527
    has the offer expired?

    • Looks like its gone up by $28, so yes.
