    What makes it 'Deluxe' ?

    • +1

The frame and canopy are heavier duty than other models in the Oztrail range.

        • +6

Sorry, I do not work for OZtrail and did not name it this. This is only why I believe it is called deluxe. OZtrail is a camping brand, very popular in most of Australia.

I would imagine that deluxe can imply luxurious as you said, but luxurious features may also mean that it's heavier duty and better built. I think the name fits, but again, I dont work for Oztrail and had no input in this.

I am only trying to point out the good price we're offering on this model right now. Happy to offer my assistance in this regard.

          @zJEB: >deluxe can imply luxurious

I always thought it implied wood panelling.

          @Diji1:

Sorry, no wood paneling on this gazebo :( Good idea though!

We offer free delivery to most Australians.

So which Australians have to pay for postage ?

  • The ones that fall outside of

Block-quote If your order subtotal is $89.00 or more and is to be delivered in selected areas of: South East Queensland, Greater Brisbane, Greater Sydney, Greater Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide

    https://www.tentworld.com.au/shipping-delivery-information

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free shipping Australia wide due to the size, and weight of most of the items we sell. This prevents us from using capped, or fixed parcel freight such as AusPost parcels.

For instance, this gazebo in question measures 160x26x21cm and weighs 25kgs. This prevents it from even being able to enter the AusPost delivery network.

We offer free delivery to most Australians

why not all? do you have something against the rest?

    • +1

I wish we could offer it to all, but our couriers charge very high freight rates for the areas outside of here. We simply cant absorb this much cost.

      • So where exactly won't you deliver to?
i don't see any excluded states or locations.

The simplest way to be sure though is to add the item to the cart, and then get freight estimate as it's all post code dependent. Or feel free to let me know your postcode and I can let you know.

  • Vendor in title please.

    • Thanks sorry done.

      • Thank you.

    Awesome video

"It's 3x3m and it's Deluxe! Like, you can use this thing for a multitude of things"

I've always wanted a thing that can be used for a multitude of things.

    Thanks OP grabbed one!

  • Any deals on the 2.4 X 2.4 compact?

  • I OP, I live in Brisbane metro area. What are the chances if I order one now, I'll receive it before 10th April?

    • Yes you should. Please note that the deal does end today, or when stocks run out.

Do also note though, that we have a store at Windsor (just outside Fortitude Valley) where you can collect from instead if you prefer. Windsor currently has 11 units on hand. You can ring and put a 20% deposit on one to secure your deal and collect when you're able to.

      • +1

Okay thanks. I work 10 mins from windsor so might collect it myself.

  • The only thing about this gazebo is that there is no roof top vent. Without it, it becomes a wind trap and with heavy winds it will start lifting.. Other ones have this valuable feature.. Allows the wind to escape and heat to dissipate too.

    • The vents do help with preventing take off that's for sure, but when the big breezes come if they're not secured to the ground well enough they'll all take off…. Definitely always use your pegs, and if you're expecting windy conditions. Upgrade them to bigger ones. Nothing worse than flying gazebos.

Ordered one, my last one broke after 2 years of occasional uses. Served a lot.

    • Keep your old one for spares :)

  • Good deal, until Freight kills it to WA. Understand the reasons for not shipping to WA for free though.

    • If you're anywhere near Midland Perth, then you can grab from the store there at 69 Victoria St.

Deal ends today though, so ring up and place your deposit for it over the phone.

Unfortunately for now all online orders are sent from Queensland, so yeah freight is a killer currently to WA. We're working on shifting online dispatch to our Perth store ASAP to help with this.

      • Ring 07 46 344 150 and the online sales team will be able to arrange this for you if you like.

  • How does the Oztrail compare to 3 X 3 Instahut Gazebo on Groupon for $119?

    https://www.groupon.com.au/deals/groupon-goods-newa-264?deal_option=74f7a78d-4ab5-4a95-b12e-c7dcfb2c4cf0&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=AU_DT_SEA_GGL_TIM_TTT_PADS_CBP_CHP_NBR_product_partition_id67778094222_campaignid354670267_adgroupid*21887468707&mr:referralID=071bdf66-1807-11e7-ba44-005056946dac&gclid=CLGswPeHh9MCFVBwvAod_6wMGw

    • Note, delivered cost for the instahut is $128.95.

Unfortunately, as far as the differences go. It's very difficult to say from the specifications provided, and without taking a good look at the Gazebo.

Being a Home Brand Gazebo, the quality is unknown and they seem to avoid mentioning anything specific in the specifications. That does make me nervous in itself. To me, you'd be better off buying a branded gazebo with dealers, and spare parts readily available. Even at the higher price of $179.

They make no mention of the canopy quality. The canopies on all these gazebos is what cops it the most, the Australian UV is just so damaging.

Replacing the canopy is inevitable with all gazebos, so having replacement canopies available IMO is very important. Otherwise you'll be tossing a perfectly good frame.

Total weight for InstaHut Gazebo is 18kgs. OZtrails is 25kgs that in itself is a pretty big hint that something is missing.

Unfortunately I cant be more helpful than this.

  • Hi OzBargainers,

Thanks very much for your support on this one. We've sold through the stock faster than anticipated and have now sold out of stock for online delivery. There is no more stock to be had of this one until May now unfortunately.

You could say we've been been 'Ozbargained'

For those of you who live close enough to one of our stores, some of them do still have stock. If they still have stock, you can still buy from there to collect.

IF you're not able to get in there today, you can ring them and place a 20% deposit over the phone and collect it at your leisure.

    Thanks again,

    Tentworld Team.
