    The whole electrical/electroincs section of Myer Perth seems to be on its last legs, about 2 of every 3 shelves are empty, and many items, including large TVs are on clearance at 20-30% off. In the same way that DJs now has no true electrical section, Myers will be joining them soon.

    Is this series 0 and what is the difference between this and series 1 & 2? Sorry new to Apple Watch here.

      I don't know but I know for a fact that the difference between the 1 and 2 is that the 2 has gps so you don't have to take your phone everywhere with you if you want to go out for a run and track your location.

      The screen is much brighter so you won't struggle as much reading the screen when you're in full sunlight.

      And 50m (I think) waterproof.

          @Redwood: discount is the figure below. The $0 is further discounts which did not apply. They have 2 barcodes they scan don't ask me why but it is what it is… Got 30% off the already discounted ticketed price.

          @Dogma: Thanks for the effort. By S0 I mean they are the Original Apple Watch which has been around for quite some time vs the Series 1 you mentioned, which was released last year.

    So what's the overall opinion on these? They don't really appear to have taken off I've never seen anyone with one (work with 200 people-nobody has one)

    Is it the price that's a put off?

      I know a couple of people that own them. One guy said it was OK but he'd never buy one (got it as a gift), as the main thing he used it for was as a watch (with mickey mouse as the watch face), and reading emails without getting his phone out.

      I joined late and I loved it (bought it only after they released Watch 2, and I scored a deal on secondhand Watch 1). I dont think I'll ever get away from smart watch.. the convenience of checking weather, answering call, setting timer/reminder/calendar using siri from watch without grabbing my phone is what I like the most. I use it to control my music as well while on the road, and sometimes using the maps. So the cops cant pull me over.

    Hi first post on ozbargain.
    I picked up a couple of watches from Myer Carindale.
    Chris at the electronics department was super helpful.
    All the watches on clearance are first Gen i.e. original ones before the current Series 1.
    They were discontinued from September 2016.
    The main difference between series 0 and 1 is the 0 is single core and 1 is a dual core processor, so a bit faster.
    Not a huge difference other than that to my understanding.

    38mm aluminium scanned at $300.30 less 30% so $210.21
    42mm aluminium scanned at $349.30 less 30% so $244.51
    So total $454.72

    Only had orange strap ones when i got there.
    There were some stainless steel 42mm series 0 ones were in stock but not sure on the price. i think they were priced $700 less 30% so should be around $500.

    My wife loves hers. I don't have one, but I also love it - she speaks to it to set alarm for 5am gym, and it wakes her silently by tapping her wrist. I'm none the wiser sleeping in ;)

    Just recently picked up an apple watch 38mm stainless steel version s0 from mobileciti for $299. Tried the old code apple-watch-80 from January and i was surprised it worked. I was tempted to post but discouraged as i wanted my order to go through because it is for my wife's bday. I was afraid it might get cancelled.

      Myer Sydney got the same 30% off but the sticker price isn't 349, but 400 instead. So it's 283.71 rather than 245, you can try to talk it down though.
