  • This is normal price, but with free shipping?

  • 55 @ MSY last week…..

  • With free shipping and eBay secured purchase, for peace of mind…

  • Use Code CAU5 For 5% Off

  • $65 at Umart

    • $65 no free shipping <> $65 free shipping

      • Fair point, but it's hardly the lowest price for the product if you're willing to pick up.

        • I live in a regional area so shipping always has to be factored in for me. But yeah, if you live within driving distance less an issue.

  • +2

I would stay away from this PSU - its not particularly stable or high quality, and its worth spending a little bit more on something that can destroy your whole system if it goes bad. I picked up an Antec Neo Eco 550W for $84 at MSY a few days ago - its rated much higher.

    • As with everything YMMV. I had 2 750w Silverstone Strider Gold (tier 3 in that list)go on a murder spree on the first systems they were installed in (presumably a bad batch). Newegg reviews show similar results so perhaps I'm not alone.

      • Personally I didn't really want to risk it so I picked up a 750W EVGA Supernova G2 - but when you want to make a budget build you have to cut corners somewhere :)

  • Does anyone still buy PSUs that are not modular?

Don't answer if you're the kind that lets a PC shop build it for you, put a warranty seal on the case and you never open it up to look inside.

  • For a basic pc <$500, non-modular is ok. I'll wouldn't mind using it on a budget.
My main pc definately need modular for a clean look and airflow
