Freedom code is probably a generic code. The code is the same for me as for poster powerhammer (23840898 - see powerhammer's Freedom thread). Is there a risk with buying beyond the 1,000 limit here?
I don't understand how the limit of 1,000 cards is advised to the buyer if it is a generic code. Could it be that we buy only to discover that we were the 1,000+n buyer and so don't qualify for the $100 credit? Is there a risk here?

Terms say the $100 credit only happens if payment is by AMEX.

Manual link for Freedom please OP

    • Manual link not required as card registration is not required. However, it looks like the deal is expired.

  • Maybe I'm missing something but don't quite get the freedom deal, I can just spend $100 in store rather than buy $99 membership to get $100 credit.

    • MyFreedom gives you 15% off full-priced items and two $50 vouchers on your birthday (I'm assuming these must be used in separate transactions.) The $99 fee is for a two year membership.
If you can justify that this is probably a good deal.
