  • What would you use a pan like this for? It seems it's not quite a frypan, not quite a saucepan?

    • +1

Risotto cooks beautifully in one of these.

I cook most things in a pan about this size. It's great for all of those one-pot meals you see around the place, but it does the job of a large saucepan and frypan if you don't want to drag someone out of the back of a cupboard.

    • Hi CWB,

The Essteele web site states on the home page that it is:
        BEAUTIFUL COOKWARE
        MADE IN ITALY
        FLAUNTED EVERYWHERE

Just beaten by the OP. LOL

Fantastic deal, just bought 2, thanks OP!

  • How are these at cooking on an electric stove top?

    • They perform really well aaronza. Anyone else here used Essteele Per Vita on a electric stove top?

      • I do. Works flawlessly on induction.

    • +1

I bought a Per Vita 16cm covered saucepan in January. I bought just one saucepan to try it out and I'm so happy with its performance that I've decided to replace my 35 year old saucepan set with this range. I've cooked with electric for the last 35 years and have no hesitation in recommending the Per Vita range for electric stove top cooking. The saucepans are reasonably heavy and I'm pleased that this size pan (3.1L) has handles either side to help with lifting.

      I ordered one. Thanks OP.

  • price is now $129 ???

    • Good deals on Australis are hard to come by julesio. Might be worth signing up to the Essteele newsletter. The Essteele team run monthly offers on selected stock. www.essteele.com.au

Good company to deal with, admittedly I've only just ordered from them for the first time and they accidently sent the wrong 6 piece set. However there professionalism, and ability to resolve issues quickly gives me the confidence in buying with them again. Thumbs up! Hope you guys do some more deals, more often!

How many was on offer? This seems like a marketing ploy. I was checking out and typed in shipping details but went out of stock.

      Hi ML11,

we're sorry you missed out on this deal. We can assure you that this wasn't a marketing ploy. We had 56 units available to OzBargainers. We do have another deal available at present if that is of interest- https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/300458

      Cheers,

      CWB

Aldi had ( and normally have twice a year) similar looking ones and can confirm were of great quality in case you have missed.

  • Back in stock. Thank you op

I've had one of the bigger ones, the 30cm one I think, for 3 years and it looks brand new. For once when they say the product is of high quality and will last it's actually for real. Good price too.
