      Hi syousef,
I assume that you are not familiar with the Metabox brand or bought one before.
They are IMO the best bang for buck laptops on the market, plus you can upgrade and spec your laptop to exactly the way you want or need it. If you already have Windows or are a student and get Windows for free then you won't want to pay for something that you don't need or already have.
Overall pricing on the Metabox range is cheaper than everyone else and our profit margins are smaller on Metabox because of this.
I think a lot of OzBargainer's that have bought from us would agree with this.

      Cheers

      • "exactly the way you want or need it"? I can still buy a laptop with an internal optical drive, though it's getting harder. So not quite.

        • Yes, we find that not a lot of people use them anymore. Only about 5-10% of customers add on the external DVD drives now when they order. Manufacturers have opted now to keep the laptops thinner by removing the bulky DVD optical drives.
I assume that you still use one?

          Cheers

      • The recent dell deals seen on ozbargain would have to be alot better 'bang for your buck' compared to metabox. But you're a store rep so I wouldn't expect you to say anything other than meta box #1

        • Hi aaronz,
Yes you are correct that I'm a bit biased :)
I do love the Metabox brand, hence I became a reseller. That's how much I believe in them.
I have seen the Dell deals too.
I just think that overall across the entire ranges (and not just the one off specials here and there) that Metabox offers better bang for buck.
There's the top end model, the P870KM-G, that you can upgrade the graphic card to the SLI dual GTX1080 and it's about $1000 cheaper than the MSI equivalent.
Right down to the cheapest models as well.

The one thing that most of my customers like is that you can buy without having to add on Windows 10, if you don't need it or get a free educational copy.

          Cheers

  • so 2 years warranty? what happens afterwards if theres something wrong?. not really sure bout spending 2k on a laptop that only has 2 years warranty.

    • +1

      Hi Feeblely,
There is also the opportunity to upgrade to the 3 year warranty. All laptops that I know of have 1 or 2 years warranty. Which models are you thinking of that have more than 2 years warranty?

I can assure you that spending 2K on a Metabox would be a good investment as you would be saving more (than buying other brands) and also future proofing yourself with the higher specs in this price range.
The Metabox P650HP's are our biggest sellers out of every laptop model that we sell.
So there's a lot of happy customers with them and with the 2 yr warranty.

      Cheers
      Kris

  • Can you put Mac on Metabox laptop?

I love macosx, but the 2016 mbp is ridiculously expensive

    • Others might be more helpful with answering this. To my knowledge you can't do this.
