      Yes. For example, a USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C should be 3A while a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C should be 2A-2.4A.

      You'll lose also amps if the cable is too long with too thin wires.

          This type of cable would work well for chargers and power banks without Type-C.

          A Nexus 6P can charge at UP to 3A but it doesn't mean you have to do this. The limit for Type A ports is around 2-2.4A or lower depending on the charger so for a Type A cable this is about the best you will get.

          You can get up to 3A from a Type C to Type C cable again depending on the output of the charger.

          Slower charging is better for the battery life and the phones life.

    Cashrewards seems to be having a problem for me. I click activate now from the pop-up and it just brings me to my Cashrewards front page. When I click the store from there, it opens Aliexpress but the icon is red. Guess I'll lose out on my 8c this round!

          It was a flash sale. It was both time limited and number limited (hundreds of cables). They ran out of available stock just before the time ran out.
