      From reading online I believe it is Chinese made. At this price point it doesn't bother me…

    They are good
    It works great with cat fur on carpet even without a turbine head

        Yes it is.
        But don't forget a lot of the top phones these days are designed in the US but assembled in china.

        The build quality is good and the plastic does not feel cheap at all and it's got a fair bit of weight to it for this size vacuum so the parts inside should be good.

          Yep, the vacuum did seem to be well built. Unfortunately the geniuses at my local Good Guys tried to fob off either returned stock or a store demo model to me. I was not impressed to find that the vacuum had been previously used….
