No deal if you already have a dslr.

    • No deal if you use Nikon, or don't like cameras.

      Kind of a pointless comment.

No deal if you have no eyes or hands. I'm negging.

If you're buying a 70-200 for $2800 then you can save 30% ($840) by purchasing a 1300D for $549. You can then sell the 1300D for a few hundred on ebay.

      • -1

But the you losing money in sell 1300d.

        • You're saving money by buying he 1300D, it doesn't matter how much you sell it for.

No deal. I am waiting for 100 years.

    • Canon Inc. Founded: August 10, 1937; 79 years

I am waiting for the 80% off offer in August 2017.

      • If I were you, I'd wait another 20 years in true Ozbargain style :)

        • I might be dead by then. If I cannot enjoy my purchase then it is false economy.

        • @alvian:

If you look at it that way, don't buy anything. You might be dead by tomorrow.

So buy the cheapest body you can sell on e-bay without losing too much?

  • Really good timing, was thinking of paying similar pricing on Gumtree, this is competitive and finally a decent entry point on some of the L lenses I need.

  • So the big question is: what is the cheapest Canon interchangeable lens body?

  • That is insane price for new AU stock for those lenses. Have both, so no deal for me, but if anyone is just thinking of those, just buy them with the cheapest body, they are great and sharp as!

    The 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II @ http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod3585.htm is $1805 after cashback, $1547 after TRS - For a new, local unit!!!
