  Not really a massive deal, a number of places have it for the $1299 price, obviously PLE and Scorptec as well as PC Case Gear (https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33715/acer-predator-x34-…)

      Some places still have it listed at the $1400ish price point, but honestly, this isn't the sort of product where you gain anything from buying it elsewhere.

  Pretty sure this model is being superseded within the next 3 months. The similar ASUS ones are similarly about to be obsoleted by monitors with a much higher maximum refresh rate. I'd wait…

        The X34P is the replacement for this monitor. Asus have already announced their 27" screens and a 34" is coming.

        Overclockable well over that whereas X34A is overclockable to 100hz sometimes….

        @Ken_ZomgWtfBbq: Well the X34A is confirmed not always even capable of 100hz, even when overclocked. It's a 50/50 thing.

        The X34P is a better monitor in every way. Best of all you get rid of the crappy plastic surround.
