      So cheaper to buy from Protein King than Protein King hey

        Nearly 5 years membership and Store Rep OP didn't tell us these products are cheaper on eBay. Having sold 21,291 items there OP surely knows there are current eBay discount codes. OP intends extracting more money from OzBargain members than eBay members although eBay charges fees, unlike OzBargain.

          The old 'wallet biopsy'.

        • We actually don't keep track of 5% off codes for eBay, as they come and go pretty regularly.

          With eBay and PayPal fees included, we actually make the same amount per unit selling this item on eBay or through our website.

          Nothing sinister here as you are suggesting - just a good deal that we tried to make you all aware of!

          We actually don't keep track of 5% off codes for eBay,

          You actually do keep track of amounts received …

          … as they come and go pretty regularly.

          … and you knew the codes exist.

          With eBay and PayPal fees included, we actually make the same amount per unit selling this item on eBay or through our website.

          PayPal is used for both, but not eBay fees.

          Nothing sinister here as you are suggesting

          It is not a suggestion but a fact nobody sells 21,921 items on eBay without awareness of discount codes.

          … just a good deal that we tried to make you all aware of!

          You purchased some items in bulk. It's not our fault nobody else wants them. Is the expiration date a secret? The manufacturer's product page no longer stocks your flavours …

          @PJC:

          Not sure why this seems to be an attack, but I'd be happy to address your concerns:

          1) Ebay codes differ as per log in. Personally, I don't have any 5% codes showing when I log in to eBay, and eBay doesn't notify us when they are offering these discounts to their customers. Also, that 5% does not come off our received amounts - eBay pays for this 5% and we receive the total amount as if no code had existed.

          2) Addressed above

          3) Ebay fees are factored into our prices on eBay. Although we don't pay eBay fees on direct purchases from our website, there are other costs such as marketing fees and payment processing and security that we do pay for direct purchases.

          4) Addressed above

          5) It's not a case of nobody wanting the items. The expiry dates are excellent as well (07/2018). It just happens to be a bulk-buy discount that we took advantage of, so that we can offer a great price to our customers. You have linked a US site, and if you'll read the item description, this version of Prolific was created specifically for Australia, which is why the discrepancy in flavours.

          Hope that addresses most of the concerns :)

          @proteinking:
          You knew the codes exist "as they come and go pretty regularly" and you knew purchasing via this post costs more than via eBay.

          Your other costs exist with or without OzBargain. eBay is an extra cost and OzBargain is not. You knowingly charge your fellow OzBargain members more via this post than via your eBay listing.

          Your description still omits the expiry date. Is it not relevant?

        • @PJC:

          Expiry updated :)

        • @proteinking: Thank you.

          Zero plus-votes in nearly 17 hours? I suggest reducing this post's price to reflect those eBay fees so it begins resembling a bargain.

    • Same price before you use the coupon, cheaper if you live in Sydney to buy direct from the website.
