Has anyone else had any experience with buying from them? I'm interested in buying a few pairs.

Update: I'll give them a go, 3 pairs of Mysterious at $49 each. Much cheaper than my previous purchases of Mysterious.

(Paid $89 for one pair direct from manufacturer in Jan 2014 and $94 for my current pair from eBay in Jan 2016, each pair seems to last about two years for me though the current one already has a hole in it.)

Yes ordered $105 worth of stuff last week. No complaints. Order arrived in just over a week. Goods were as described.

You're not quite mysterious if you keep buying the same pair of shoes all the time mate :P

      • Yeah I'd love to have variety but the problem is that most black shoes these days are too pointy / don't have much width for wide feet. Mysterious is very wide.

  • How do they compare with Grosby Premium shoes?

  • I just bought the brown Whale shoes from icon and they are great. Not worn them yet but they are really well made and look so much better than most shoes. They are a bit like Wild Rhino shoes.

OP investing 1 minute adding direct links to your example bargains is likely to increase your sales. You have an 'edit' button between 'view' and 'revisions'.

  • damn found two shoes but sitting at 98 dollars. guess it not meant to be

    • order some slippers for $5

I got some at a couple of years ago half this price and still would not recommend them…… they simply dont last in my experience…got about 6 months max out of all of mine

    • Any other suggestions of place to buy work shoes?

  • I have some JM shoes that say size 8 and fit well.. but not sure if that is UK or Aust. Anyway to tell?

  • Hmm they don't have returns for change of mind. Difficult to buy clothing / shoes online without having that option there in case of sizing issues.

      Hi,

We will definitely accept a return for a change of mind. However, you will be required to cover the cost of returning the product back to us in this case.

      Hope this helps!

      • I dont believe illfitting/sizing constitutes a change of mind? Can you confirm that free returns would apply in these cases?

Beware! I bought one pair of Julius Marlow boots a year or two ago. Didn't even last 2 months. Terribly made boots, sub-par leather and the sole wears quicker than any shoe I have ever owned. Stay away from JM at all costs.

  • Not sure which one has it, but the 'Flex' Series is very comfortable for longer periods of wear.

  • I have had A range of brands of shoes from expensive eg. lLOYD to cheaper brands.

I find JM reanoble for the money they are defiantly not the worst or the best shoes I have owned but reanoble, some models are better than others but this is the same for most brands.

shoes will last if they are looked after and rotated. Most shoes will not last if the same pair are worn everyday and not cleaned/polished a few times a year.

  • My JM last me about a year or so before the sole starts to wear through. But I wear mine day in day out 5 days a week, so for $50-60 I think it's OK IMHO.

  • I reckon their sizing chart is wrong.
They have AU/US size comparison lumped together which is definitely wrong.
I would order using UK sizing, especially since JM are slim fitting shoes.

EDIT: This is a good general guide.
WOMEN: AU and US women's sizes are the same.

MEN and KIDS: AU and UK men & kids' sizes are the same.

  • Ordered 2x Black shoes:
    1) 1x Sabotage $169.95 —> $99.00
    2) 1x Grind $149.95 —> $79.00

If it helps any1 for sizing:
    Sneakers —> Nike 'AirForce1' = 9US
Work Shoes —> Julius Marlow 'Crush' = 8UK
    Casual —> KmartSlipon Loafers = 7AU

    Thanks OP!
    Good timing :)

Got this reply after 2 days (a bit slow!):

We're terribly sorry to see that your heel is separating and we can completely understand your disappointment in this situation.

We recognize that your feedback is vital for us to improve our product, and your feedback is greatly valued. Accordingly, I have passed your feedback on to our Production Team.

We have just created a return label for you, please see attached. If you require parcel tracking for your return, please kindly make this purchase with Australia Post.

Once we receive your parcel at our warehouse we will arrange a replacement for you (subject to availability).

I've emailed them back to ask if there is any way the replacement could be sent first as these are my primary work shoes and I chucked out my last pair when these arrived.

      Watch this space.

      • Will be watching.

Good news. They've decided to make an exception.

      • Well done.
