Packs of 10x Grinders Caffitaly Coffee Pods $0.50 @ Officeworks (Best Before April 2017)

700

Spotted these at Officeworks Campbellfield (VIC) so called a few other VIC stores and confirmed they had them too. I'd suggest calling your local OW before heading out as these won't last long. Dated best before April 2017, and as you can see from the photo, there's quite a lot at time of posting. If you're concerned about the BB date, serve them to the in-laws lol. Enjoy :)

brew em all then freeze, winter is coming.

  • can you taste when they are out of date?

    • +1

Not really, I've had coffee that was a couple of years out of date and it tasted fine.

      • +1

Agreed. Pod coffee is surprisingly tolerant of aging, I imagine it's to do with being sealed into a tiny, air-tight package that helps.

According to the Coffee Capsule Compatibility Chart, HERE'S the list of Caffitaly compatible machines.

    • I've used Gloria Jean's Caffitaly capsules in my Aldi K-fee system before and found you had to really jam the handle down as the needle points align differently, capsules often got stuck on the needles and sometimes the grind would get percolated into the cup. They fit but are not perfect. At this price it might be an ok compromise for some.

    • I'm confused, will these work in my nespresso machine specifically inissia

      • No, they are for Caffitaly machines only.

  • Didn't find any at QV

  • Geelong OW have them for their regular price. exprired pods but they wouldnt reduce the price for me.

  • Lots of comments about price. What about the taste (I know it's secondary ;) ?

    • I have the organic version of what's on sale and it's not bad, smooth.

    • Taste is pretty average

    • Bought a Nespresso batch of these in Crema and was unimpressed with taste (very bitter), smell (sewage-like) and compatibility with the machine. I think I had 3 and binned the rest.

Everyone who uses these pods regularly should be at least aware on how it affects the environment.

  • Nothing @ Coburg

None at Preston VIC and none left at Campbellfield VIC - did manage to get a price match on expired stock at another Officeworks in VIC for seven boxes when showing the ozbargain link.

I got the last few #10 strength at Bundoora store, taste pretty good to me. Thanks OP, bargain! They also had a few of the L'OR Nespresso #7 packs for $0.50 but gone by the time I left the store.

  • None in Subi. But they have Samsung OEM S6 screen covers, iPhone covers and iPad covers for $1 each, oh and a few tablet holders for $1 - grabbed a couple

  • None at Airport West VIC
