Hasn't this TV been at this price for a while? A friend of mine bought this at this price over a month or 2 ago.

    • already for a long time.

    • out off topic .. has your friend(s) made any complaints so far ?? I am in need of getting a 32" TV .

      • Its not too bad, as imp said below it is a little slow to change channels. But for the price and the added 3 Yr warranty you can't really go wrong.

not a bad unit for your bedroom, spare room

My Mum got 2 and both are OK. Only complaint is that the channel change takes a while. Menu etc are all very basic. No frills.
They are not a Sony, but then you are not paying Sony prices.

    • How slow is the channel change?
And is the viewing angle what they claim to be?

      • Noticably slow.
Will have to check the viewing angle when I visit.

  • Where's the bargain? These are always popping up.

10% off store wide on the weekend if you know anyone with a Woolworths discount card.
    Confirmed for Victoria.

  • How does this compare to the Aldi unit?

    • I am not sure, but If I recollect, Good points for Aldi are 100 Hz and Warranty is at home.
but bad point is, Aldi's 8 ms response time.

RAC WA sells Woolworths/BigW gift cards for 5% discount …. so $500 worth would be $475…

    • can you combine it with the woolies staff 10% discount in weekend and make it $425.79? Maybe purchase the gift card with Amex or other CC with rewards can be an even better deal. ^_^

  • Not a bargain. They have been at theses prices for ages.
