No Audible subscription required.

  1. When you click on the deal link make sure you choose the US store when it asks you to switch to the Australia store.

  2. Download books

  3. If using the Audible app, it may auto choose the Australia marketplace. You will need to change this to see your books:

  4. Sign out of the app (Settings > Logout)

  5. On the sign in screen of the app, click the marketplace text at the bottom and choose Audible.com in the menu.

      This was the only one I grabbed. Just finished Red Rising after a long hiatus of not reading anything, and I think the Sci Fi genre is what has been missing in my life. Will I like it? Tell me more!

        This is one of his best books. Along with Stranger in a strange land one of my favourites. It's a good old fashioned sci-fi. Longer and with more detail than todays books. You will like it, I think.

      It's weird as I was seeing 2 for a while there as well, but now it's back to 5 books for me.

        Than I individually searched for the other 3, found, at $0, add to cart
        Had 5 items in cart
        Checked out and got a message, sorry only 2 items are available for you.

        Now if I search Casino Royale: James Bond, Book 1 again it does not show at $0 anymore…

      Same here. I then tried the app and it shows title not available for this country even though I have a US account. I think it's because my US Amazon account even though has a US address, my credit card is an AU one.

      Ended up just creating a new blank account and downloaded the books.

      Same, and this is the weird thing. Recently my Audible account, which is still using the US store and previously was able to pick up US content, has stopped picking up US content. I didn't change anything. So I'm guessing they're at least starting to pay a little more attention.

        I've only ever used my US account for amazon as there's a larger kindle library.

      Same, all five were $0. Make sure you've got the .com site not the .com.au ? Also I have a US address registered on my amazon account (for a ship forwarding company), maybe that makes a difference?

    I successfuly purchased 2 of the free books but after installing the the app and signimg in with my Amazon account, they are not listed in mu library? :(

      See points 3, 4 and 5 in my post and you should be good :)

      TLDR, change from AU marketplace to US marketplace in app on home screen.

    None of these are free to me. I had to manually search for them because the landing page is World Book Day with no mention of any free books. I'm logged in with my US account.
