Walked into Woolworths Hawksburn VIC this afternoon to hoards of folks walking out literally boxes of steak. Got to the meat section and saw boxes of Woolworths Simply BBQ Flame Grilled Steaks 500gram (2x250gram).

Original marked price $12.99 with "SPECIAL" stickers all over the boxes $2.60. Use by 03/05/17. I got to the self serve check out and the lady advised the staff fridge out back was "chockers" with cheap steak.

I have no idea on the quality or taste (it comes with some sachet of smokey Chipotle sauce but at $2.60 if it's no good I'll serve it to the dog.

Possibly store specific so your miles may vary - good luck.

      i opened up one of the boxes, the steak is drowning in this chipotle, it's not a separate sachet… absolutely not fit for animals!

    I'm thoroughly confused as to what the product actually is. It seems to be precooked (ew?) but it also says BBQ in 15min?

    "Special stickers" means a store specific manual mark down and they're not going to match prices either.
