  • Any comments if this is a good system for this price? Will keep watching this space.

  • Any reviews on this and whether it's worth the price?

  • Extra $100 and you get the Swann 500GB NVR 4CH which is better.

      Cool….. why?

      • yes, would be nice to know why.
NVR system is cable connected, while this one is wireless

      • +3

It has POE (power over ethernet) cameras, means you can power your camera with ethernet cable, saving you from install power point. Potentially cost saving & more flexible to where you put your cameras
Wireless isn't great idea if you going to install cameras outdoor or through wall

        • Do you know if it is possible to connect the cameras (the one which in the ad and the one you suggested) to another system? If the cameras stream the video and can be consumed with other app?

@Dmitryos: From my understanding, bcos they are IP cameras, they can be used independently or with another system (such as NAS). But it still depends on which system support what camera models. It best to find out what system/application you want to use and see what camera models it supports.

  • anyone know how many days of recording you would get with this before it has to record over the old stuff?

    • From the OP:

      • Set and forget motion-triggered recording from four channels for 40+ days

  • Its now showing up for $599…. seems like they changed the price

  • Crap system
Spend the money on a decent hikvision setup

    • Can you link me a 4 camera hikvision setup pls
