Not sure about other questions but Sony australia will not cover imported units for warranty.
No international warranty.
Download content is region locked.
Playing movies is region locked.
Can pick up a plugable cable for under $15.Consider the cost difference, read reliability reports then make a judgement on whether or not this is cheap.
Probably cheaper to just get a German->Australian plug adapter.
Probably cheaper to move to Germany and use it there unless you want your PS4 hobbled with no local warranty.
@fookos: Why anyone would want to pay extra on top of $309 for a warranty they probably won't use is beyond me.

We had two units fail and had to be replaced, third one is fine.
But two went faulty within weeks of getting it so I would not want to buy one from OS even if amazons retuns are good.
500gb slim with additional controller and PS4 remote for $285 from JB Hifi set the benchmark for slim console deals.
Mafia 3 is average.

Do you know if this will run in Australia with a simple change of removable power cable? What about the games, Are they region locked? Does it have worldwide warranty?
