ANNIVERSARY20

Picked up one of these via purchasing online and Click & Collect in Chatswood, NSW.
I know having a 4 slice black toaster is not the next best thing since sliced bread for some… but found it to be a price I couldn't resist.

Why? You're clearly not interested in the product or you would have clicked on the link and seen it's before price.

I have one too, I just love putting it on the kitchen counter, showing it off to my wife every morning. You know how it is. Magpies are attracted to shiny things.

For $120, it better butter my toast as well!

My Kambrook 4 slice toaster for $20 does the job perfectly ;).

Saw a $59 toaster at Target today that's also four slice but has a LCD digital countdown timer.

Who the hell needs a countdown timer for their toast? Maybe a toastaphile?

    • Yeah and mine even makes my white bread black.

I picked up the BTA635 for $70 a while ago (2slice, takes thick slices, controls at the end). Part of a past eBay sale :)

Pros: visual feedback on when toast is ready, consistent colour of toast, nice controls
Cons: don't expect longevity on a device that generates high heat with a PCB and ICs right next to it

You're not going to get the same toast from a cheap toaster (we looked, tried, tested). Other than the old toastermatic, you won't get much better than these breville units.
