This is the tracker I got for free from University of Tasmania for doing a free "Technology in Fitness" short course.

Now that it's half price, I'm almost a little disappointed!

(I'm really enjoying the course. I am actually doing it, and it is proving valuable to my fitness)

    • how do u find the fitbit flex 2? i'm looking to buy some kind of fitness tracker, i had a xiaomi mi band 2 before although seemed to get a faulty unit that broke 2 weeks after initial use

      • My mi band is two days short of two weeks old!

        • Mine is 3 weeks old, and I still haven't charged the battery!

Good price on this, I liked the flex 1…

        • i was either going to buy one of these or an alta, i've got a $50 jb hifi gift card through purkle and i want to use it on someir): thing.

      • I love the fitbit in every way except it has no display. But for many (most?) people, the minimal display isn't distracting. The fitbit software is fantastic - very user friendly.
And at this price it's so worth it!

      .. I got for free .. for doing a free ..

best bargain ever (when paid for by the taxpayer).

  • Thanks so much, I've been waiting for a deal on this.

  • Maybe dumb question but, how does it track your sleep and activity/calories burnt?

    • It takes sleep via movements recorded and it takes calories by steps counted and combined this with your height and weight. People of a certain height will have a certain average stride length.

  • PS - I just finished the uni course!
    Fantastic value!
I'd recommend everyone do it. Really changed my attitude towards exercise
(and lost a couple of kilos too)
