Aquacube Logic Lithium - https://www.roadtechmarine.com.au/aquacube-logic-rechargeabl…

Want a steaming hot shower when you're out camping? Well, this thing will raise water will raise the water temperature by 30 degrees.

Not bad prices, the Aquacube Digital retails for $390 @ Anaconda and $299 @ TentWorld, while the Aquacube Logic Lithium retails for $500 at Anaconda, $400 @ Tentworld. The cheapest shower, the plain old Aquacube Logic, appears to be an older model and there's no comparable prices available online. It has a higher overall throughput, but a shorter run time. So you get more water, but a shorter shower.

The Aquacube Digital requires a 12V DC input to pump the water (the Aquacube Logic has its own internal battery), and all units also require 468g BOM gas cartridges for heating.

    • I'm trying to find some more info on this one. It looks like there isn't an equivalent being sold elsewhere, but considering that the $249 Logic one is 'Lithium', I guess it would be safe to assume this one uses lead acid batteries or NiCads?

You could be right, it's a little heavier with less run time but it does produce more water in the same time. Can't find out much about it so maybe it's the older model???

Damn, that's awesome.. now to procrastinate until it sells out!

      • ahhh, that sums most of us up in one neat package. Then you spend the rest of the time hoping it comes up again so you can do the same thing.

Have looked at these for a while, but always been put off by the almost propriety (and hence expensive) gas cylinder replacements.
If they could take the standard small butane bottles found cheaply almost anywhere, I'd grab one, especially at these prices.

They appear to use the same horrible checkout/store system as Jaycar, so finding local stock is not easy.
All the item are sold out in Melbourne, so if they have stock elsewhere you'll need to pay shipping.
