  • How does this compare with Anker Powercore?

    • +1

How can you even compare power banks beyond rated capacity and quick charge capabilities? Honest question.

  • I posted this comment in the 10,000mAh deal and then saw this but….i don't have this so can't comment on quality but am posting it as a possible alternative

It is QC3.0 and 20,000mAh but almost half the cost at $22.69 delivered

    • Have not seen any reviews for this product. A bit worried why such big price difference and the quality of the product. Any users bought this before?

      • +1

I do own this. The quality is really good and I have been using it for almost a year. I have had cases where I was able to keep my phone alive for a 4 nights business trips without any other chargers ( my phone hardly lasts a day). I can't really say how many exact charges because I haven't calculated it.

        • But this product isn't bidirectional quick charging is it?

bought the 10000mah xiaomi one and after 1 year it doesn't fast charge anymore when I'm juicing it up. Output is still fast charging but input takes 18 hours or so to fill up

        • @swords114: tbh I don't have a quick charge enabled phone yet so I don't have a charger to try that out. It does take a day to charge.

        • @vchan: ah ok. So we don't know if a fast charging charger charges the battery quicker then. Hopefully someone else can shed some light into this. If it does 23 dollars is a real bargain

        • @swords114: I was talking about the Xiaomi one lol. But $23 would indeed be a bargain if someone can vouch for quality.

15000mAh actual capacity in product description.
I wouldn't trust manufacturer or brand whose deliberately exaggerate or marking up spec…

      • +1

Isn't that the case with all batteries? Probably not to the degree they have BUT they have called it out in the description in bold, bright orange so at least they are being up front (somewhat) about it.
The Xiaomi here by the way, has a 20,000mAh 3.85V (77Wh) battery. USB requires 5V so there has to be conversion so i can guarantee that this one is not 20,000mAh and i would guess that it would be close to the Meskey capacity.
Believe it or not, Banggood have a very good and simple explanation of this here https://blog.banggood.com/the-secret-marketing-trick-behind-…

  • would like a usb pd version of these tbh
