    Nah…I'll pass.

  • Maybe if it was two gold class ticket :\

  • Please cease ticking the freebie box on this deal, we've removed it 3 times so far. If a deal requires a purchase of $84.95 then it's not free.

    Freebie
Item or service is completely FREE to obtain, with zero shipping cost and no strings attached.

    Thanks

    • I recommend reviewing this page. Although its bit old but you can make out the difference. Also, visit ESET facebook page facebook.com/esetau and read reviews section from many of customers who have used ESET Antivirus.

      Hope it answers your question.

Replying with "read this page" in response to "why should I purchase this service" is hardly compelling evidence, nor does it answer the question. You could have posted other evidence in support of why ESET is better than Windows Defender, how good the support (supposedly) is etc etc. You don't drum up business being lazy and ignoring very basic enquiries.

        • I'm not the rep BTW.

Usually at this point I'd pipe up an say that most tests consider Windows Defender to be baseline or to be among the worst. In this case though, while it's mostly true - there appears to be one exception.

According to AV Comapartives, for February, Security Essentials came fourth last (note that you need to change the graph on that link to February or else you get March's results).

Virus Bulletin and Dennis Labs haven't done any testing this year for Windows antivirus so I can't include them here for the sake of fairness (the others both did tests in February).

For Windows 10, AV Comparatives put it second last in Protection.

Here's the weird thing. For the same period, for Windows 7, it's middle of the pack and beats Eset. So if you have Windows 7, apparently Security Essentials is the thing to use instead of Eset.

        • @douglasac10:

Unfortunately for the a-v industry Microsoft has started improving Defender leaps and bounds. Pair it with Voodooshield (free version) in auto-mode and you are pretty much bomb-proof. Ongoing VS thread at Wilder's, https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/voodooshield.313706/. I have turned off WD and run VS by itself.

Linking to your own site instead of an independent study or review is not as convincing. Of course your own site is going to talk up its own products. Why should people trust your word though?

  • Awesome. Movie tickets for me. Internet security for her. Great deal!

  • From $84.95… You can buy codes 3rd party way cheaper than that, pay for the movie tickets yourself and still have some change left over.

    No deal.

  • Dear All,

We have rephrased the details of the deal in case the deal details were not clear enough to understand.

    • Still too expensive bro.

      • Hi Customer,

You get 6/10 licenses for AUD 63/AUD 88 for a year when you subtract AUD 22 for the movie ticket price is not expensive :). Also you might get a dinner with family worth AUD 100 and above.

        • I don't go to fancy dinners, and I don't need 6 licenses. Can you do a half price discount for 3 licenses?

        • Dear Customer,

Currently, we are not offering but I suggest to follow our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/esetau). In future, if we have a similar offer, we would definitely publish it over there.
