1. Create a new Google account
────────────────
• Open Google Play → top right, profile picture → Add account
• Create account → select " For personal use "
• Enter first name, last name doesn't matter → enter date of birth & gender
• " No phone number/email " → create a Gmail address → choose your preferred address
• Set a password → skip phone number → everything else with " Next " → " Decline " everywhere
• Log in to myaccount.google.com with Chrome
• Open payment information: Payment methods
• Add payment method → Country: India → Address:

Address line 1 : C/6/101, Dewan & Sons Industrial Estate, Gokhiware, Evershine City, Vasai (east)
Postal code : 401506
City : Mumbai
Province : Maharashtra
(or generate address

  1. Enter debit card details → done

Important : Log out of all old Google accounts from your phone. Alternatively: Use App Island to create a second, clean profile.

─────────────────────
• Launch Island → tap Accept → then Agree.
• Tap Next → then Google Play → tap the blue icon on the right.
• Tap Sign In → sign in with the Google account we just created.
• Skip → I agree → Never lose contacts. DO NOT activate → Cancel for phone number → Accept → Get started.
• Enter password → then Not now → No thanks.
• Open the Play Store → download Google Chrome.

Everything you install from the Play Store within Island will only appear in the Island tab.

2. ChatGPT and VPN App

• Download the VPN India - get Indian IP app
• Download the ChatGPT app
• Open VPN → select Free Server Mumbai 1
• Tap “Connect”

3. Subscribe to ChatGPT Go
────────────────
• Open the ChatGPT app .
• Sign in with your Indian Google account (the one from the Play Store) .
• Tap "Try on" at the top.
• Select "Upgrade to Go."
Google Play will open → click Subscribe.
• After successful purchase, you can deactivate the VPN and delete the VPN app .
✅ From now on, you can use ChatGPT Go anywhere, completely without a VPN. You can cancel the subscription immediately .

        Yes I tried, it is not better than gpt 5. It still makes mistakes but at least you don't need to be prompting constantly , it has a self correcting mechanism where it will test the code itself and give you the PR at the end with working code. But the working code is only as good as your prompt and it's understanding of what you want

    If doing the Island method, you need to install 'any' browser app within the Island as the ChatGPT google account authentication happens through a browser. At least, that what I had to do. YMMV

        managed to get it now, you have to use the specific INDIA VPN in the steps, can not use any VPN

          Can only see Upgrade to Plus

          The issue was with VPN, I managed to get this done by using chatgpt on the browser, before you do that open chrome and make sure you are in Mumbai with "Where am I"

      Basically they are in so deep with investment that they don't want to admit that it might all be a waste, so they are putting even more money in to try to recover that sunk cost. Nvidia is already pricing in several countries worth of profits, yet no one actually wants this stuff as soon as they have to open their wallet…
      So eventually there will be a huge collapse where a lot of the smaller companies fold and the big ones remain because the rest of their business still makes actual money.

          It didn't ask for a name from memory, just card number, cvc, expiry and address. Possibly it autofilled my name from the Gmail account, at least I don't remember typing a name

    India is currently the largest active customer base for Chatgpt now. I can imagine with this GO subscription, they going to have a even larger pool of customers using their model and the abundance of data points is going to make the model even better.
