do the xiaomi ones retain their last settings when you turn them off from the power switch? Kinda interested in them as well
I use IFTTT with them, so I just tell them to be at a certain colour/brightness as the sun goes down etc

Yep, retains settings after power cycle.
Have to switch on and off five times in a row to force settings to reset, so keep that in mind if you have annoying kids that play with light switches lol.

Ive always been a lover of LIFX, got them throughout my house. How ever the price is starting to look pretty high compared to other smart globes i.e Xiaomi. Im not saying the Xiaomi are better by any standard but when you can get 3 for the price of 1 LIFX, it starts to look more attractive.
