Inspiron has newer processer i7 7700HQ, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD, 16GB RAM, better graphics card 1050ti 4GB.

BUT this XPS has a much nicer screen, is lighter, better build quality and has a better battery life.

I'd get the inspiron for gaming/home use, but the XPS if you want to travel more with it / use it for uni,school,work.

  unless you intend to change the screen like i did, i would not recommend this laptop as the screen included is well below acceptable.

      the inspiron screen is bad, but can be replaced cheap with IPS screen on ebay . The XPS has a great screen
