7-Eleven Super Size Coffee ($3), down to $1 with ATM Voucher

200

Just rocked up to my local 7-Eleven. They were all out of Nutella doughnuts so I looked around. On the ATM was a voucher bringing the cost of a $3 Super Size coffee down to $1. Myself of course, banking with CBA availed himself of this very fine offer.

The voucher itself expires sometime in July so feel free to stock up on coupons

Ahh, I was thinking about posting this.

the trick is to put the wrong pin in when "withdrawing" cash. You'll still get a receipt, but the transaction will be cancelled, so no ATM fee.

      You sly devil you

    • Absolute genius!

    • +2

Be careful with this tip as the ATM might eat your bank card.

    • Or you could just get a balance printed out to get the vouchers :)

      • Usually involves a fee.

Not to bank west or cba customers, which I am, but I guess for others that aren't -good plan :)

        • @billyb67:
Also for ING Direct Customers as well

          @billyb67: "so no ATM fee."

          Stay on topic. ;)

It's always there, I didn't think it was a really great deal but OK if you need 7 11 coffee I guess.

Never took coffee from there unless got a free one.

They change these every few months, been waiting for this to return!

  • I thought $1 was the normal price of a 7/11 coffee. When did it go up? (not many 7/11s near here.) Not bad coffee .

      $1 regular $2 large $3 Super

Although when I looked a few years back the $2 is nowhere near twice the volume of the $1 one, don't know about the $3 one though.

      • +1

It's not. Buy multiple $1 ones if you need more coffee. Unless your car only has one cup holder like mine (seriously, what the (profanity)?), then you just go $3.

      • +1

The super seems to be about twice the volume of a regular. The only reason I can imagine they market it like this is to actually make some money out of the larger sized coffees.

It is, except Tuesdays at the new store near me when it's free (7-Eleven Harristown).

And yeah it is surprisingly ok.

  • +1

Does this include the icecream /ice coffees?

    • No sadly, especially considering the recent promo they had I wouldn't think so

  • Title should be changed to super size coffee specifically, not just any coffee.

    • Where did I say any coffee? I said a $3 coffee…

    • +1

I'm sure they'll charge you $3 for the medium or small if you ask nicely.

  • got a few vouchers from the ATM after work. They expire in July

will restock up when im low in vouchers

  • +1

I couldn't even finish their $1 regular size coffee 😀

    • Crap?

      • +1

its okayish, but the regular size is more than enough for me..

  • A friend of mine drank one $1 cup when he arrived and took his favorite the $1 cup, he started to have stomach pains (bloatedness) for the rest of that morning, possibly due to the acidic nature of the coffee nozzle not being cleaned in time. This is rare given their coffee I drink is good enough for me. But there you go what do you get for $1?

    Expires 3rd July. Thanks OP
