Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (i7-7500U, 16GB, 512GB SSD) Refurbished | Dell Factory Outlet | $1099

160

120% credit goes to dheywood for the original post from here, a couple weeks back. After that deal went out of stock, I've been checking regularly on the DFO list for it to happen again.

I felt like this needed to be posted again, otherwise OzBargainers will miss it. If it's considered a dupe, then please delete.

There's a few on the DFO list.

As per the original post, these are normally $1,899 not refurbished. But Dell are currently doing a deal for $1,614 here

  • I bought it got an issue within a week, I am returning it.

  • Happy with mine, looks brand new, had a small issue upon arrival. Logged warranty support call, they replaced mainboard, all working well. Well worth the price in my opinion!

Edit: Even got an upgrade to Win10 Pro after the mainboard replacement. As the key they gave me was a universal one for Win8Pro/Win10/Win10Pro I believe, reinstalled Win10 Pro and activated with the new supplied key :D

  • +1

hit and miss (mostly hit) with the refurb. I buy quite a bit from the dfo from servers to laptops. Prefer to get the "As New".

Latest issue I had with this particular model…

    1. touch screen issue (dell fixed it)
    2. dodgy touch pad (dell fixed it)
    3. bsoding (mobo issue) returned the unit for refund.
  • Looks like a good deal - how long do these usually take to sell out and are they only added on weekdays?

    • Totally varies. I don't know any way to really know how much stock they have except for calling them. The last deal sold out within the night it was posted (while I was considering getting it or not). Some stuff stays up on the list for a couple days, some stuff goes within a few hours.

I'm not sure how often the list is updated - but this deal here, from CVonC suggested that the list is first refreshed at 10AM and some tips on how to go about ordering.

      • Ah cool thanks. Not bad then if the stuff might still be around in the evenings. Will keep it in mind if I get fed up of my laptop since this kind of thing is a really good deal.

The reason I asked is because I've used dell outlet in the UK before where you can pay online, but the stuff went so quickly and it was updated at random times in the afternoon.

        • Yeah…not really sure why they just don't have a shopping cart for the DFO store for Australia.

  • This actually looks like it's a great deal. Surprised it's only got 16 positive votes.

Although - the ordering process for this doesn't appear to be too clear. I'd assume you call up, quote the "Bundle #"?

edit: Really deserves more positive votes when you see the previous post
