  Good deal. These have epic battery life (24hrs), and can be synced to link 2 of them in stereo so thats nice too. I bought 2 factory seconds from sony in a recent ebay sale for 110 each but this price is great for new from a shop

  Support for Google ChromeCast is the feature avaiable in newer models that makes me hesitate.

  I had the old one (SRS3B) and it was fantastic. Battery has died though after 1.5 years of (moderate) usage.

  What are the sound quality of these like from an audiophile perspective? I assume they're garbage…but that's the price you pay for convenience/portability? Are they boomy like Logitech speakers?

  Black ones are sold out. I placed an order which was cancelled a week later. I've put in an order now for light green and red. Hopefully they come through.

      I should add that it's a great speaker - love the quality, just disappointed I can't get a second one to pair them for stereo goodness!
