  • Am I missing something, $670 rtn to Bali is cheap?

The other flights don't look competitive either..

    Surely I am missing something.

I fly Sydney - Jakarta very often, and I've been paying up to $1200+ during non-sale periods on Singapore Airlines. So yes, I'd reckon that this is a good price.

      • Oh cool, I have not flown Singapore Airlines, so it is the quality of the airline.

Cool with that. Thanks for clarifying.

      Surely I am missing something.

It's full fare airline, and a good one at that. If your only comparison is a $400 rtn trip w/Jetstar, then ofcourse you're going to be disappointed.

      • as an ozbargainer I'd happily pay $270 less to sit on a plane going to the same destination for 8 hours.

that said, I flew Singapore Airlines economy bris<—> sing in march and it was very nice. the kids kept asking if we were in first class. blankets, snacks, tv & entertainment, free drinks, USB power

  • Never heard of netflare before but these are very good prices for Jakarta/Surabaya with top airlines too!!

    • Netfare is fine, known to Indonesians in Australia. It's good price if you don't mind to stop in SIngapore.

    • I have been buying ticket from Netfare and they are good.

    • This is a Singapore Airlines sale, nothing to do with Netflare.
Just book direct on the airline website! ts not a secret

  • They talk about transiting through Singapore, are they direct or do they have a stop over there?
Also wow that's a really poor website, makes me wonder if it's dodgy.

    • Small travel agent mainly for Indonesians. I've used them before.

      Stop over.

  • oh come on… no perth!?

    • contact them directly. They seem to reply almost instantly on facebook last time I tried.

  • Or try this.

$625. Perth to Bali, return flights.
    $879 from Melbourne

INCLUDES 7 nights accommodation at decent hotel.

    http://www.jetstar.com/au/en/holidays/bali

But… It is flying Jetstar (which I have had not problems with).

    • But… It is flying Jetstar (which I have had not problems with).

Nothing wrong with J* on those flights. They fly the 787 Dreamliner which, IMO, is a far superior and more comfortable flight than a 777 or A330 with full fare airlines (And especially Qantas' shitty A330-200 which is a POS). Used to do it frequently MEL to SIN & NRT all the time.

  • Hmm, requested a quote on their site and they came back with a significantly higher quote on Garuda.

Looks like it might be bait and switch, tempted to neg.

Anyone had success on the posted deals?

    [EDIT]

They've come back saying the Melbourne fares are only valid to March 15 not May as is quoted above. Either the deal is incorrect or they changed it on their site.

    • i was only copying what's said on facebook. Tell em their facebook states that…

      • I'm sure you did but if I click on the link above and select Melbourne (Singapore Airlines) I get:

        "Departure Date : 5 Jun 2017, 7 Aug 2017, 4 Sep - 13 Sep 2017
        3 Oct - 22 Nov 2017, 19 Feb - 15 Mar 2018 "

So the deal as posted above is not correct. Can you edit it?

        • Edited thanks. Seems like a typo on their side.
