hmm you need to blurred your information, people can steal your account.

  • I have Unsubscribed you.

245K points and only red…. :( that sucks

  • Read T&C's. Only if you transfer to a foreign currency from AUD. If you were to transfer back, you would lose out on the spread.

  • lol whoops, edited :)

  • Someone calculate how much we'd lose on changing the equivalent of 50,000 points and back to AUD pls :P

    • I'm gonna estimate about 6%. 3% buying forex and same again transferring back to $AU. So $1500 or 3c a point is my guess.

  • So we have to transfer $25k in Aud to a foreign currency to get the 50k points? Anyone know what exchange rate they use?

    • probably bad

  • this is targeted, only those who received the email

  • The exchange rates on these cards are normally shockingly bad.

  • Bummer I was hoping that you could transfer and spend as aud

Please be careful and only activate your card if your planning on using it regularly, the global wallet has an inactivity fee

      Other Fees
Transaction dispute handling fee (the fee will not be charged or the fee will be reversed if the dispute is resolved in your favour) Free

Inactivity fee (applicable each month after twelve consecutive calendar months with no transaction activity) AU$1.00
    Negative Balance fee Free
Card to Card transfer fee Free

Unlike the Qantas cash card which doesn't

  • How much is 50,000 points worth in flight dollars? I think 15000 is equivalent to about $50. Is that right?
