    Never buy on this website. Last time it took me 2 months waiting for the order to arrive which unfortunately it never arrived. I had to ask those guys to refund me. They sent me some policy email indicating that if I received the order finally I should pay them on their PayPal account. Agreed but never got the refund. I actually requested a refund 3 times until the last time finally succeeded which is another 1.5 months after. I don't know why there are still some guys keeping an eye on their sales, Just wast energy dealing with them.

      Tracking never works.

      Online chat never works. Tried different hours thinking due to time zones.

      Highly recommend to stay away from this site or any associated sites.

        I purchased a battery charger and it arrived in 5 days. It wasn't advertised here at the time which may have helped.

        no problem here. made several orders in the past. one did not arrive and they refunded on first request.

        I agree customer service is shocking, they don't respond to support tickets at all. I received the battery charger which was suppose to come with a free gift, so raised a ticket about the gift and 4 days later no response, raised another ticket and still no response.

      • The shipping timeframes are from when they actually ship. I think my last order took 3 weeks before being shipped, then it took about 10 days. So the expected 2 weeks took 5. They were cheap, but it seems like they wait until they've got a certain quantity ordered before they then get the stock in, before on shipping to customers. Sometimes you get lucky and you're one of the last to order so you get it quickly, othertimes you're one of the first and have to wait until they get their predetermined numbers before they actually get stock in.

        But at least they're not like some who give you fake shipping/tracking numbers, then eventually send (or claim the item was returned & reluctantly give you a refund when you complain enough).

      Completely agree. It has just taken me 2 months to get them to agree to refund me for an item that they sent out without a correct address on it and never arrived. They offered to refund me minus the shipping for an item I never got. Had to get my bank involved and only then did they cooperate - I have confirmation of refund but am yet to receive it.

      The other order I made from them took 3 weeks to even get shipped, after I paid 5-8 day shipping, and even then - it was only shipped AFTER I complained about not getting a shipping notice. When it arrived, 3 items missing. They offered to refund for those items to a value that was LESS than what I paid. I requested they refund the amount that I paid which they have sent confirmation for but they have not refunded the part of the shipping that was calculated for that item.

      Left poor reviews online and they contacted me asking me to re-evaluate since they have refunded me. Nope, I had to fight.

      Only 1 of my orders has arrived without issue.

      • May I know if the address you initially provided was correct? If the initial address you filled in was not right, we may need to wait for the return parcel before provide refund or resend.

        If the address was right, we will send out replacement straight away without delay.

          I explained to the customer service rep that after completing the form correctly, I have experienced on two occasions a bug in which the form clears the address field when the submit button is clicked. It then warns the user that the address is not valid, I clicked ok to go back and correct it but instead it submitted the order without giving me a chance to correct. I picked up on this issue only the second time around and was able to email an get my address changed.

          The package was returned to your store and they offered to send it again if I paid postage. I felt that was not right as it was an issue with the submission form that meant zapals shipped the package without any street address. It only listed a suburb.

          Zapals is not a company I ever want to do business with again. As soon as I receive my refund I hope never to have contact with the company again.

    • Similar experience. I warned about them a while ago and most people said they had no problem at all. Nice to see I haven't been the only one having problems with them. To clarify, all my orders have been received. However, time taken to ship orders has been EXTREMELY long.

        It seems like there are enough similar stories that you claiming "I can't believe it" actually looks comical. Zapals, perception is reality, and the perception that is coming through is that your customer service is lacking. It's probably time to look at policies and to retrain your staff. Or you can keep on "not believing it". The choice is yours.

    i ordered twice, and got it both times. their pricing seems to be cheaper than others.
    however, shipping out time on both was quite long. i had to chase my order status for both orders.

    my 2nd order was above $250, and it was Australia Post - Air Parcel (5-8 business days)
    order placed on Mar 3, shipped out Mar 15. I didn't get it until until last week of Mar.

    they can definitely improve order fulfillments communication.

  • Thanks for everyone's comments. I think I'll avoid this deal until I hear some better reviews of Zapals… Price looks good, but just not worth my time chasing up missing/extremely late products.

    Ok, so I have received this unit today.

    Most important thing it works on 2.4Ghz
    So if your wifi router supports 2.4 and 5 together IT MAY NOT WORK

    Luckily with my Modem router, I can set up 2 different SSID with different names.
    So I set up with 2.4Ghz and it works ok.

    (If anyone has found on how to make it work with a mix of 2.4 and 5ghz

    When adding the device in Mi HOME app
    there will be 2 Xiaomi XiaoFang 1080P device icons to add
    1 ( with short Chinese text is for remote )
    2nd ( with long Chinese text and (brackets) is for AP mode.

    The otherwise works fine no dramas so far.
    I am on the latest firmware and it seems to be working fine.
    Caution Some people on forums complain Re: firmware loops, screen gone black etc.

        Primary Split into 2
        1st 2.4Ghz
        2nd 5Ghz

        And Guest wifi

        All have seperate SSID's

      I have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks yet it only wants to connect to the 2.4GHz. Not that it matters too much anyway.

  • Zapals. The new scam. In stock items don't get sent for weeks. If you complain suddenly it's going to be sent right now, the courier's actually walking up the stairs to pick it up!
    Of course a fake tracking ID that just sits there. What is the game? Why sell things you don't have, and pretend there's an extraordinary unexpected delay?
