      It was because the stock ran out, I added it to the cart and was almost finished with my transaction when the stock ran out.

      Pretty shit that once you begin a transaction it doesn't put aside a specific unit until completion.

      Well i thought it was a serious question. Nintendo Switch must be really cool for people to pay more for one rather than a PS4 or Xbox One. I suppose the Nintendo Switch has more portability use.

          @hollykryten: These consoles aren't in the same conversation. You buy a Switch to play Nintendo exclusives, not CoD. I assumed that's been the understood status quo since the Wii. The fact that it's a portable differentiates it more.

        • Nintendo games (as always; if you're not a fan of those, a Switch probably isn't for you unless you're going to just turn it into an indie machine)

        If anything, I would think of the Switch as a successor to not only the Wii U in terms of Nintendo's home console lineup, but also to the concepts pushed by the Wii U as well as the PS4 + Vita Remote Play and Vita + PSTV. Makes the whole "playing the same game either on TV or portable" more seamless.

      Yeah I agree .. true it does 720p handheld but once it cracks under $300 with a couple of games chucked in I'm out… would likely spend a bit more but the wifey doesn't understand buying a console just for one game ZELDA :-)
