Cheapest I've seen for the digital download for this cracking game, it's Xbox Play Anywhere so can be played on both the Xbox and Windows.

For those that prefer physical copies, these offers are still valid;
Base.com ~$30 AUD
Big W $39

  • this wouldn't include the 4 bonus games, would it?

    • Not the digital download one, the one from the Big W offer might come with it though as it has it pictured in the image. You would have to check the stock though just to make sure!

    • I got this as a download code with my Xbox bundle and I received codes for the 4 games.

      • When did you redeem the code?

        • Couple months ago

        • @BTRaynes: Hmm when I bought my Xbox in Feb, the code I received for the extra games said it expired at the end of Jan. Looks like I received an old code! :(

        • @BTRaynes:

ok thanks, good to know. it was my understanding that the digital codes expired end of last year.

  • Where do you find the 5% off code on facebook?

  • GOW4 is Windows 10 only isn't it?

  • If you didn't get the four older Gears of War games, you can buy the set pretty cheaply on Facebook/Gumtree/ebay.

Should be only a couple of bucks max.

  • Are the older games on PC as well, or only on XBox?

  • Is online multiplayer on PC still alive?

  • voted cause the price is right but i don't intend to play this anytime soon, only reason i got it is cause I got a half decent laptop and figured cross play would be cool.

But get this, 125GB for Windows download.

And from what I can tell, if you want to play on two computers, you gotta download it twice. Ditto when you format your computer, you gotta download it again.

Like, Microsoft is just out of control, I only got a 256GB SSD… They just aren't thinking clearly, it's like with Quantum Break, if you want to predownload the cutscenes, it's 75GB… Seriously, if you can download pristine 1080p 2hr bluray rips at 8GB, then unless that game has 15 hours of cutscenes, Microsoft need to get their head on straight…

    • Not really necessary to play it off the SSD though. Just chuck it on an external drive.
