Thanks OP. I have been using the free version. Now got the PRO :)

      Just sit on it.

      • +1

yeah after setting up properly :)

    • Dont tell mum

  • I gave this a +1 and installed all apps but, be mindful of below.
After reading this below article I think I will be careful what free apps I dl. Scary place these days. But yes it's a bargain hopefully not at a cost to your identity/lively hood.

Usually only get malware if you've enabled your device to install 3rd party apps and then install them from 3rd party markets.

      • Editted: Deleted comment as realised post is for Android not iOS

      • 3rd party app sources (in kuding torrents) are rife with dodgey apps, but the Play Store aint always safe either

        http://thehackernews.com/2017/04/android-malware-playstore.h…

One annoying thing is how you can't seem to specify trustes sources (like Amazon).

Apple seems to be the best at vetting aops.

But its not just free apps that steal details. If.you look at the permissions of even paid apps you've got to wonder why most want access to your contacts.

        • And that's why I deny most permissions until something breaks.

    • Don't use a bank that does it's transfers via SMS.

If I install these free apps and uninstall them. Say the free apps become paid apps. Do I still get access to the free version, somehow ?

    • +1

Yeah. After they become paid again you'll still be able to download them for free.

      • Thank you

    • Yes. The best way is to get an unused old device or emulator into your devices list and then "install" everything to that device.
It will never install (since dead/unused device) but the app will be permanently unlocked on your account for any other device when you decide you want to install it.

      • +1

Or one can click on "Install" and then cancel it before it finishes. The app should now be on your account without having it installed. You can then install it down the line when/if needed.

LOL, was finally tempted to join the Google store - but cannot - none of my landlines can be used: "This phone number cannot be used for verification." FU Google. FU to hell and back.

    • -1

Dunno why the negs, I hate the practice of rejecting a valid contact point too just because it's not a mobile. My landline is my best contact point, pure and simple.

      • Yep, wonder why ?

Thanks OP. Loving all these Android game deals recently

    Thanks op :)

Good thing about Google play is that you can always find something better for free!
I have a lot of purchased apps, but I almost never use any of them, because there is always something better for free.

Yay, now you can prove the Earth is flat by using this on a plane.

Surely a troll …. no-one, no-one with any kind of brain could be that dumb.

  • thanks OP, picked up the spirit level.

honestly my spirit level has the marking worn out, it have owned it for 17 years and its a fantastic tool to use despite the markings are severely faded.
