  Hey OP, got a 2 stroke oil injected Evinrude 85hp. Previous owner had service invoices, one of which showed it required a full system flush due to water in the fuel tank. Doesn't seem to have one of these separators installed though.

  Would this product prevent a recurrence of the issue? Are they easy to install? Do they need to be replaced regularly? Would this suit the outboard I've got? Thanks.
