Hi all - thanks for all your support with my last deal. I hope you all enjoyed the coffee.

I have my new stock in and they are all very interesting beans with great flavour profiles and high cupping scores.

This is the selection……I've kept the amount just under 1kg for postage reasons. And this amount seems to be more favourable with most? :)

Papua New Guinea - Suavee Aro Plantation - Easter Highlands Province

Processing - Honey

Flavour Notes - A unique complex coffee with a sweet silky delicate profile. Cupping with black tea, lime and honey throughout and buttery sweet herbal notes to finish.

Brazil - Ipanema - Microlot - Sierra de Mantiqueira Mountains - Rain Forest Alliance

Processing - Pulped Natural

Flavour Notes - Complex bright cup with notes of cocoa, hazelnuts, almonds and pecans upfront. Long clean finish of cocoa and orange.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe - Gedeo , Southern Ethiopia - Organic , Fairtrade

Processing - Natural

Flavour Notes - Balanced complex cup with rich jasmine floral notes throughout. Sweet jammy tropical fruits, sticky caramel, vanilla and chocolate. Rounded acid and silky heavy texture.

Colombia Excelso - Caturra De Altura Guatica La Cristalina - Microlot - Municipality of Guatica

Processing - Fully Washed

Flavour Notes - A delicate cup with apricot up front and a lemon acidity. A smooth creamy body leads into a sweet caramel spice honey and cocoa finish

These beans offer a more premium coffee experience with high cupping scores (>85). The Ethiopian is Organic, Fairtrade and 'shade grown'.
The Brazilian is Rainforest Alliance certified and comes from a microlot …as does the Colombian.

    How dark are you roasting these? Will you be doing a filter roast? Great deal!

      Hi there - for single origins I usually dont go too dark. This is to preserve the bean flavour profile and also the caffeine content!
      They will be roasted medium apart from the Ethiopian which will be light-medium ( smaller beans, tricky to roast!)
      All beans and roasts are great for filter - as long as you have a good burr grinder!

    Sounds good, ordered. Oh, I didn't specify in the order, are they shipped as whole beans? Order 1163, beans preferred.

    Gonna give this promo a shot (pun intended!) - really enjoyed the Brazil last time. Keen to try the Ethiopian this time.

    If I had to give some feedback from the last promo (this is being nit-picky, so not major issues) - it'd be nicer to have smaller bags, and the pull tabs were annoying / fiddly to pull off. Most of mine were stuck on tight and I had to pry them open with scissors or a knife. Other than that, appreciate the smaller quantity in this deal and particularly these regions.

      Hi there - thanks for the feedback. I am now using smaller bags with just a zip lock - much easier!
      Glad to hear you enjoyed the coffee - the Ethiopian is indeed something very special - these dont come along very often - almost 90 cupping score!
      All the 4 beans I have at the moment are premium coffees ( all cupping above 85)
      I will be roasting again Wednesday.

    Really impressed with Dale's customer service.
    Very responsive with emails, beans were shipped straight away and received within 2 days, he took feedback on board, beans are good quality and the price is very good.
